Love the idea! Great composition as well especially with the words coming off as if they are the flames and smoke of the fire. The title really brings out the meaning of this piece as well, and I love how short and simple it is too, still letting the viewer interpret the work as well.

I do think there are some aspects that need more work on. The first thing I noticed was how the book doesn't look like it is actually lying on the sand. This is most noticeable with the shadow with how it is straight rather and dipping in and out along with the waves of the sand. In addition to that, when I picture a book lying in sand, I would think that the weight of it would make an indentation and it would probably have sand covering part of the back cover or something.

The lighting of this piece is really great - it creates a nice atmosphere for the message you have. I love the fact that most - if not all - of the stock is your own. It really makes it 'yours.' Lastly, I love the graphic quality of the fire. To me, it works well with how the flames turn into the words than if you had a realistic looking fire.
